This two day virtual workshop provided attendees with grant writing tips for a successful grant proposal and how to leverage funding from multiple grant sources. The workshop introduced participants to grant opportunities to acquire land and make improvements to beach and waterfront access, parks and boating facilities. 

The funding agencies represented at the workshop included:

This workshop provided participants with the opportunity to learn about the benefits of open space protection; learn how open space can service multiple needs including recreation opportunities, floodplain management, riparian buffers, military buffers, wildlife habitat, and forestry and farmland protection; and learn how other communities approach open space protection.
