APNEP Joint Policy Board & Science & Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) Meeting

The Policy Board for the Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership works with the APNEP program office and its host agency (NC Department of Environmental Quality) to support, evaluate, update, advocate and guide the implementation of APNEP's mission.  The Policy Board includes representation from various interests in the basin.

Please visit the Policy Board webpage for more information.

The Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership (APNEP) Science & Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) provides scientific and technical guidance to the Partnership on measures to restore and protect the natural resources of the Albemarle-Pamlico region.

The STAC now hosts meetings every four to six months to discuss a variety of topics pertinent to APNEP activities. As an APNEP advisory committee, STAC’s objective is to provide scientific and technical guidance to effectively direct research, management actions, and communication between regional stakeholders and management communities. Recent topics include, but are not limited to ecosystem-based management, ecosystem modeling, and regional assessment.

All of APNEP Policy Board and STAC meetings are open to members of the general public.

The agenda will be posted on the STAC webpage closer to the date of the meeting.
