The N.C. Environmental Stewardship Initiative has developed the ISO 14001:2015 EMS Conversion Course to help ESI members, who currently have a registered Environmental Management System, update their EMS to meet the new version of the ISO 14001 standard.

Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 9 am - 4 pm & Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 9 am - 4 pm

Training will provide participants with hands-on exercises and in-depth discussion on the changes to the ISO 14001 standard including the following topics:
- Overview of ISO 14001:2015
- Context of the organization
- Interested parties
- Roles and responsibilities
- Risks and opportunities
- Life cycle perspective
- Smart goals
- Operational control

ESI staff, along with other experienced environmental professionals, will conduct the EMS training. The two-day course will be held at the DEQ headquarters building in Raleigh and is offered at no cost to ESI members.
