Draft Proposed Classifications Public Meeting Information

DEQ held a public meeting in each county with a coal ash facility to discuss the draft proposed classifications released Dec. 31. Public participation is a critically important part of the classification process. The information gathered through the public participation process has helped inform the department’s final proposed classifications.
