Con Ed & Renewal Info (WW) WASTEWATER CERTIFICATION STATUS (Enter Certification No.) All NC certified wastewater operators must comply with all terms and conditions of their certification and be responsible for the renewal of their certification by: [15A NCAC 08G .0701] Providing documentation of 6 hours of Commission-approved training and submitting payment of the annual fee by 12/31 each year. Renewal invoices are mailed out in mid-October. DO NOT submit payment if you receive a GREEN invoice, this indicates that the operator has not met the 6-hour CE requirement. We can not apply a renewal payment until the CE requirement is met. We DO NOT hold payments. Once the operator's record is up to date, payment can be made. Employers that submit batch payments for operators - DO NOT submit payment for operators that received a GREEN invoice, unless or until they fully meet the CE requirement. We do not apply partial payments OR hold payment(s). Online payment is only available to operators with a VALID certification AND has met their annual CE requirement. Failure to receive a renewal notice does not relieve a certified operator of the responsibility to renew the certificate by the renewal due date. Operators are required to notify the Commission within 30 days of an address change. Certifications that become INVALID are subject to late fee(s). Certifications that remain INVALID for 2 consecutive years will require attendance at an approved certification school AND passing the state exam to be reinstated.
