  • Petitioned - The DSCA Program is in the process of reviewing an application to certify the site.
  • Certified - The DSCA Program has entered into an agreement with a petitioner and is in the process of assigning a state-hired, independent environmental contractor to conduct a prioritization assessment.
  • Assessment - The DSCA Program's independent environmental contractor is currently determining the extent of soil and groundwater contamination at the site.
  • Monitoring - The DSCA Program's independent environmental contractor is currently monitoring the levels of contaminants in the groundwater.
  • Remediation - The DSCA Program's independent environmental contractor is currently performing cleanup at the site.
  • Interim Action - Site conditions are favorable for source removal or conducting a pilot study for remediation.
  • Emergency - The DSCA Program has determined there is an immediate need for corrective action to abate a potential hazard to human health or the environment.
  • On Hold - Please contact the site’s project manager for more details.
  • Closure - The extent of contamination has been defined and is considered stable. The DSCA Program is in the process of developing and implementing a risk management plan to protect human health and the environment from remaining contamination.
  • NFA - No Further Action Required.
