Public meeting on draft permit for Active Energy Renewable Power to be held on March 16

RALEIGH - The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Air Quality (DAQ) will host a public meeting on Monday, March 16, 2020, on a draft permit for Active Energy Renewable Group.  The company is applying as new facility to manufacture wood pellets with a proposed maximum throughput of 39,420 oven dried tons per year, classifying it as a small facility.

Committees of the commission will meet Wednesday, January 8, with the full commission meeting Thursday, January 9. All of the meetings will be held in the Ground Floor Hearing Room.
