This permitted facility discharges treated wastewater to Cane Creek in the Cape Fear River Basin. Currently fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited, which may affect future allocations in this portion of the Cape Fear River Basin.

The Alamance-Burlington School System (1712 Vaughn Rd., Burlington, NC 27217) has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0045161 for the Altamahaw/Ossipee Elementary School WWTP in Alamance County. This permitted facility discharges treated wastewater to the Haw River in the Cape Fear River Basin. Currently fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited, which may affect future allocations in this portion of the Cape Fear River Basin.
