The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater General Permits to be revised and re-issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Danny Smith (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period.  Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message. 

All comments received through June 13, 2022, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permits to discharge stormwater and/or wastewater statewide:

• Ready-Mix Concrete

• Furnishing Transportation by Air or Operating Airports

• Composting Operations

All comments should reference permit numbers NCG140000, NCG150000 and NCG240000
