Terrapin Tally training will take place in two parts. The Pre-Training Orientation is a self-guided / asynchronous presentation and should be completed prior to attending one of the three live instruction training sessions listed below.
There are three options for training sessions. Two in-person trainings -- one at UNCW Center for Marine Science and the other at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. There will be one virtual option. You only need to attend ONE training session.
Pre-Training Orientation
In the orientation we will go over the background of the Terrapin Tally project, terrapin natural history, and discuss the next steps for participating in the surveys. This training can be done anytime and should take approximately 20 - 30 minutes.
