The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality hereby gives notice that the following facility has applied for a permit to construct and operate a fiberglass mat manufacturing facility at the following location:

CertainTeed LLC - Oxford Facility
200 Certainteed Drive
Oxford, NC 27565
Granville County

This facility's application for the proposed facility was reviewed by the DAQ to determine compliance with the requirements of the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission air pollution regulations. This notice serves as a notice of opportunity for public comment for this proposal.

The public comment period begins on June 27, 2023 and will run through Aug. 18, 2023.
