ESI Energy Toolkit
The Environmental Stewardship Initiative at NCDEQ is excited to assist and facilitate the organization's energy conservation goals. With this vision, ESI has launched the Energy Toolkit Program which will allow the ESI members to use various highly efficient equipment to collect the energy data and improve the energy management performance at their facilities.
ESI members can sign out the equipment free of charge.

Mattamy Homes, an ESI Partner located in Cary, NC, borrowed the FLIR Infrared Camera in December 2022 to test the insulation value of a new house wrap. The house wrap claimed that it would reduce the energy need of the homes. The FLIR Infrared Camera allowed Mattamy Homes to determine that the product would not be successful for their projects due to a lack of insulating performance.
