The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be revised and re-issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.

All comments received through November 5, 2023, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Wayne County:

Airgas USA, LLC, 109 Hinnant Road, Goldsboro, NC 27530 has requested renewal of permit NCS000043 for the Airgas - Goldsboro Plant in Wayne County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Granny Branch (The Slough) in the Neuse River Basin.

All comments should reference permit number NCS000043.
