The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.

All comments received through January 22, 2024, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied a new NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Cabarrus County:

Venator Chemicals, LLC, PO Box 1330, Harrisburg, NC 28075-1330 has requested new permit NCS000057 for the Venator Chemicals LLC facility in Cabarrus County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Rocky River in the Yadkin Pee Dee River Basin.

All comments should reference permit number NCS000057.
