The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.

All comments received through February 16, 2024, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied a new NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Rowan County:

UFP Rockwell LLC dba Robbins Manufacturing, 2801 East Beltline NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 has requested new permit NCS000593 for the UFP Rockwell, LLC dba Robbins Manufacturing facility in Rowan County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Second Creek in the Yadkin Pee-Dee River Basin.

All comments should reference permit number NCS000593.
