Town of Columbia, Tyrell County, applied to renew NPDES permit for the Columbia WWTP [NC0020443] discharging domestic wastewater to Scupperyesng River, Pasquotank River Basin. Currently ammonia, total suspended solids (TSS), Enterococci and total residual chlorine (TRC) are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portion of Scupperyesng River.
