Nantahala Outdoor Center (13077 U.S. Highway 19 West, Bryson City, NC 28713) has applied for renewal of permit NC0057193 for its WWTP in Swain County. Facility discharges treated domestic wastewater to the Nantahala River in the Little Tennessee River Basin. Currently total residual chlorine and fecal coliform are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Nantahala River.
