The Town of Robbinsville (4 Court Street, Robbinsville, NC 28771) has applied for renewal of permit NC0025879 for Robbinsville WWTP in Graham County. The facility currently discharges treated domestic wastewater to Cheoah River in the Little Tennessee River Basin (0.63 MGD). The Town has an approved Authorization to Construct an expanded facility (0.85 MGD) that will discharge to the Cheoah River in the Little Tennessee River Basin. Currently BOD, ammonia nitrogen, fecal coliform, total residual chlorine, total nitrogen and total phosphorus are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Little Tennessee River Basin.
