The Smoky Mountain Times YMCA of Western Carolina (Asheville) requested NPDES permit NC0089478 for the proposed Camp Watia WWTP, Bryson City, Swain County. This WWTP will discharge treated 100%-domestic wastewater to Townhouse Branch, Little Tennessee River Basin. The parameters Ammonia, Fecal Coliform and Total Residual Chlorine (TRC) are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations to the receiving stream.
