Clarke Utilities, Inc. (223 Hwy. 70 E., Garner, NC 27529) has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0063746 for the Deerchase WWTP in Wake County. This permitted facility discharges 0.05 MGD treated wastewater to Toms Creek in the Neuse River Basin. Currently, BOD, ammonia-nitrogen, dissolved oxygen, fecal coliform, and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Neuse River Basin.
