Pamlico County Water System applied to renew NPDES permit for the Grantsboro WTP [NC0088323] discharging filter-backwash wastewater to Beard Creek, Neuse River Basin. Currently, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Residual Chlorine (TRC), pH, Total Copper and Total Zinc are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portion of Beard Creek.
