NPDES Permit Number NC0021105: The Town of Mount Gilead (P.O. Box 325, Mount Gilead, NC) has requested renewal of the NPDES permit for its Mount Gilead WWTP facility in Montgomery County. This permitted facility discharges treated domestic wastewater to Pee Dee River, Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. Currently BOD, ammonia, fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portion of Pee Dee River.
