NPDES Permit Number NC0046418: The Wilkes County Board of Education [613 Cherry Street, yesrth Wilkesboro, NC 28659] requested renewal of the permit for its Mountain View Elementary School WWTP/Wilkes County. This permitted facility discharges treated domestic wastewater to Mulberry Creek in the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. Currently ammonia nitrogen, dissolved oxygen, fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin.
