NPDES Permit Number NC0076066:The Wilkes County Board of Education [613 Cherry Street, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659] has requested renewal of the NPDES permit for its North Wilkes High School WWTP. This facility discharges treated wastewater to Wolf Creek in the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. Currently ammonia nitrogen, fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the river basin.
