N.C. DIVISION OF ENERGY, MINERAL AND LAND RESOURCES’ INTENT TO ISSUE A STORMWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT
Public comment to the draft permit, SW6180202, is invited. Written comments may be submitted to the address shown below. Comments addressing technical aspects of the draft permit are encouraged and most helpful in developing the final permit. All comments received by April 27, 2018 will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and permit provisions.
Application: Atlantic Coast Pipeline, LLC, c/o Dominion Energy Transmission, Inc., 707 East Main St., Richmond, VA 23219 has applied for a State Stormwater Permit to discharge stormwater from a project site at: Contractor Yard CY SPR 10-A, 2808 Downing Rd., Fayetteville, NC, Cumberland County. The facility discharges to Locks Creek in the Cape Fear River Basin.
The scope of a State Stormwater Permit is to ensure stormwater runoff from impervious areas is treated prior to discharging via the proper design, construction, operation & maintenance of stormwater control measures in accordance with 15A NCAC 02H .1000.
