Stanly County (100 North First St., Suite 12, Albemarle, NC 28001) has requested renewal of permit NC0043532 with expansion for the West Stanly WWTP in Stanly County. This permitted facility discharge treated municipal wastewater to the Rocky River in the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. Currently BOD, ammonia nitrogen, fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the Rocky River.
