The State Water Infrastructure Authority, or SWIA, will meet at 9:00 a.m. April 20, 2016 in the first floor training room (#1210) at Green Square, located at 217 W. Jones St. in Raleigh. The meeting is open to the public.
The meeting agenda includes:
- Update regarding the Blue Ribbon Commission study on the building and infrastructure needs of the state
- Update on the 2016 Intended Use Plans for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund programs
- Local government finance presentation
- Master Plan Committee Report
- State Reserve Program update

The SWIA is an independent body with primary responsibility for awarding federal and state funding for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Other responsibilities include developing a state water infrastructure master plan, recommending ways to maximize the use of available loan and grant funding resources, and examining best and emerging practices.
