Sea Turtle Advisory Committee meeting set

The Sea Turtle Advisory Committee to the North Carolina Marine Fisheries Commission will meet at 4 p.m. June 23 at the Department of Environmental Quality Regional Office, 943 Washington Square Mall, Washington. 

The committee is scheduled to continue discussing the potential for a pound net incidental take permit, receive information on the Division of Marine Fisheries’ past efforts to observe the recreational hook-and-line fishery and review information from the division’s gill net observer program.
