Outside Involvement Committee
The Division of Air Quality's Outside Involvement Committee is a stakeholder group of DAQ staff, the regulated community, environmental groups and the public that meets quarterly to share information. Meetings are public and anyone interested in air quality is invited to participate.
This forum is an opportunity for DAQ staff to provide updates on key changes or issues affecting the Division, including updates in rulemaking, air monitoring, attainment planning, grants and permitting. Attendees may also ask questions of DAQ staff and management.
Our goal is to open a dialogue on the issues that matter to North Carolinians and create an opportunity for participants to learn about developing air quality issues in our state.
DAQ also maintains a stakeholder email listserv and will send periodic informational updates throughout the year.
