1-Hour Sulfur Dioxide Boundary Recommendation

The following links provide reference to North Carolina's 1-Hour Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) Boundary Recommendation package that was submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) on June 2, 2011. This package is in response to a Clean Air Act requirement for states to submit to USEPA its recommendations for designations within 1-year of promulgation of a new or revised National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS). The 1-Hour SO2NAAQS was revised to 75 parts per billion on June 2, 2010. Please direct further questions concerning this package to Ms. Sushma Masemore at Sushma.Masemore@ncdenr.gov.
