Superfund Section Statutes and Rules
The central authority for the Inactive Hazardous Sites Branch is granted under North Carolina General Statute 130A-310 et seq, also known as The North Carolina Inactive Hazardous Sites Response Act of 1987. North Carolina Administrative Code Title 15A Subchapter 02L contains the State's groundwater quality standards. The Branch has the authority to enforce these standards. Subchapter 13C Rule .0200 contains the requirements of the Branch's site prioritization system. 15A NCAC 13C .0300 contains the rules governing the Registered Environmental Consultant Program.
