Approval of Bids

• After receipt of bids, fill out the Project Bid Information Form and return it with the noted attachments.
• The Division will issue an Authority to Award (ATA) letter indicating the eligible project budget at this time. A promissory note will be sent by the LGC for this amount and closing costs invoiced based on this amount as well. If you need an increase to your loan, please contact your project manager for details.  
• It is advised to not execute construction contracts until you have received your ATA letter. Please note the instructions on the Project Bid Information form regarding items the Division must receive prior to making an initial disbursement of funds.
• CDBG-I projects do not need approval of bids unless it is for sole source/non-competitive bid approval.
