Eric Turon joined DEQ in January of 2019 bringing over 30 years of industry-related experience. He oversees all of DEQ’s Capital Construction Projects, Facilities Services, Stewardship, Property Management, Safety, Security and Motor Fleet Operations.
Eric joined DEQ after spending 28 years in the design, construction, operations, and property management of healthcare facilities nationwide for some of the largest healthcare systems.
His roles involved the design, construction and day-to-day operations of engineering services for healthcare facilities, regulatory compliance, energy management, project management, site development, leasing, and property management services.
Eric holds a degree in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, he also holds certification as a Certified Health Care Facilities Manager, Certified Facilities Manager, Property Manager, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and holds several trade-related certifications and licenses.
