EGGER Wood Products, LLC (EGGER) applied to obtain a PSD (Prevention of Significant Deterioration) permit for a facility located at 300 Egger Parkway, Linwood, Davidson County, NC, specifically, to increase the proposed resin usage in the Particleboard Forming Area of the Lexington Particleboard Plant and to increase the associated volatile organic compound (VOC) content of the resin. There has been no physical change or change in method of operation.

The proposed change is to allow Units 7 through 10 to be in startup or shutdown modes for any 12 continuous hour period, provided that such periods last less than 100 hours per year.
