The North Carolina Mining Commission and its rules committee are scheduled to hold meetings this month, which will be available to the public in Raleigh or online. 
The following facility has applied a new NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location: Airgas USA, LLC [314 Lake Latham Road, Mebane, NC 27302] has requested renewal of permit NCS000598 for the Airgas USA, LLC facility in Alamance County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Moadams Creek (Latham Lake) in the Cape Fear River Basin.
The North Carolina Oil and Gas Commission will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, in the Ground Floor Hearing Room of the Archdale Building in Raleigh.
Koopman Dairies, Inc. (204 Lloyd Road, Statesville, NC 28625) has submitted an updated Nutrient Management Plan (NMP) for the Cattle Waste Management System for the Koopman Dairies, Inc. (Liberty Farm), Facility No. 76-0060 in Randolph County.
The North Carolina Mining Commission will meet at 1 p.m. on August 13, 2024, in Raleigh. The public is invited to attend in person or online.

The North Carolina Oil and Gas Commission Rules Committee will meet from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday July 15, 2024, online via Microsoft Teams. An in-person listening station will also be available in the fifth-floor conference room of the Archdale Building at 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC, 27604, for those unable to attend online.
The North Carolina Mining Commission Subcommittee on Rules Readoption will meet virtually at 2 p.m. on July 2, 2024, via Microsoft Teams.
