Written comments regarding the proposed permit will be accepted until 30 days after the publish date of this notice. The Town of Mayodan [210 W Main Street, Mayodan, NC 27027] has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0021873 for its Mayodan WWTP, located in Rockingham County. This permitted facility discharges treated municipal and industrial wastewater to the Mayo River, a Class C water in the Roanoke River Basin. Currently ammonia, fecal coliform, total residual chlorine and pH are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the Mayo River.
