The permitted facility discharges treated domestic wastewater to Buckeye Creek in the Watauga River Basin. Currently, ammonia nitrogen, fecal coliform, and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of Buckeye Creek. Some of the parameters in the permit are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the Lumber River.
