The Town of Rich Square (PO Box 336, Rich Square, NC 27869) requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0025437 for its WWTP in Northampton County. This facility discharges treated wastewater to Bridgers Creek in the Roanoke River Basin. Currently, BOD-5-day, ammonia-nitrogen, fecal coliform bacteria, and total residual chlorine (TRC) are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in the receiving stream.
