The Town of Spring Lake, [PO Box 617, Spring Lake, NC 28390] has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0030970, for its WWTP in Cumberland County. This permitted facility discharges treated municipal wastewater to the Little River in the Cape Fear River Basin. Currently, BOD5, TSS, ammonia, dissolved oxygen, total residual chlorine, pH, and fecal coliform are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the Little River.
