The Onslow County Board of Education has applied for renewal of NPDES permit NC0050849 for the Silverdale Elementary School WWTP in Onslow County. This permitted facility discharges treated wastewater to Calebs Creek in the White Oak River Basin. Currently, BOD, ammonia nitrogen, and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the White Oak River Basin.
