The Division has made an attempt to post notices in the following newspaper: The Charlotte Observer

Lincoln County has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0084573 for its Lincoln County WTP in Lincoln County.  This permitted facility discharges treated filter backwash wastewater to Lake Norman (Little Creek Arm) in the Catawba River Basin.  Currently, total residual chlorine and total suspended solids are water quality limited.  This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the watershed
