Carolina Water Service of NC Inc. (P.O. Box 240908, Charlotte, NC 28224-0908) has requested renewalk of NPDES permit NC0061638 for the Amherst WWTP in Wake County. This facility discharges treated wastewater into Middle Creek in the Neuse River Basin. Currently BOD, Ammonia Nitrogen, Dissolved Oxygen, Fecal Coliform, and Total Residual Chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the receiving stream.
