Notice of Intent to Issue a NPDES Wastewater Permit NC0080691 Windemere WWTP, NC0075205 Alexander Island WWTP, NC0074772 Diamond Head WWTP, NC0062481 Mallard Head WWTP and NC0056154 Bridgeport WWTP
The North Carolina Environmental Management Commission proposes to issue a NPDES wastewater discharge permit to the person(s) listed below. Written comments regarding the proposed permit will be accepted until 30 days after the publish date of this notice. The Director of the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) may hold a public hearing should there be a significant degree of public interest. Please mail comments and/or information requests to DWR at the above address. Interested persons may visit the DWR at 512 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC to review information on file. Aqua of Carolina, Inc. requested renewal of permit NC0080691 for the Windemere WWTP in Iredell County; this discharge is treated wastewater to the Catawba River in the Catawba River Basin. Aqua of North Carolina, Inc. requested renewal of permit NC0075205 for the Alexander Island WWTP in Iredell County; this discharge is treated wastewater to the Catawba River (Lake Norman) in the Catawba River Basin. Aqua of North Carolina, Inc. requested renewal of permit NC0074772 for the Diamond Head WWTP in Iredell County; this discharge is treated wastewater to Lake Norman (Reeds Creek Arm) in the Catawba River Basin. Aqua of North Carolina, Inc. requested renewal of permit NC0062481 for the Mallard Head WWTP in Iredell County; this discharge is treated wastewater to an unnamed tributary to Reeds Creek in the Catawba River Basin. Aqua North Carolina, Inc. requested renewal of permit NC0056154 for the Bridgeport WWTP in Iredell County; this discharge is treated wastewater to the Catawba River (Lake Norman) in the Catawba River Basin.
