Carolina Water Service, Inc. of NC (P.O. Box 240908, Charlotte, NC 28224) has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0056618 for the Carolina Pines WWTP in Craven County. This facility discharges treated wastewater to the Neuse River in the Neuse River Basin. Currently, BOD5, ammonia nitrogen, dissolved oxygen, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, enterococci and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Neuse River.
