DAK Americas LLC (3216 Cedar Creek Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301) requested renewal of the NPDES Permit NC0003719 for its Cedar Creek Site facility in Cumberland County. The facility operates two outfalls, Outfall 001 for non contact cooling water and stormwater, Outfall 002 for resin manufacturing and plastic bottlle recycling wastewaters. This facility discharges treated wastewater to the Cape Fear River in the Cape Fear River Basin. Currently, ammonia, TRC, Hexachlorobenzene and Benzo(a) pyrene are water quaility limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Cape Fear River Basin.
