The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section has prepared draft Solid Waste Permit No. 0105-CDLF-2024 that would approve a service area increase for the Tri-Corners C&D Landfill to accommodate 27 counties in North Carolina. The facility is located at 5833 Foster Store Road, Liberty in Alamance County. The draft permit is available for public review and comment.
Public comment period on Draft Permit 0105-CDLF-2024 begins on June 20, 2024, and end at 5 p.m. on August 4, 2024. A public hearing is scheduled for July 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Alamance County Office Annex Multipurpose Room, 201 West Elm Street, Graham, NC 27253. Interested parties may provide written comments at the link below or submit oral or written comments at the public hearing.
