Salisbury Investments I, LLC [5320 Old Pineville Road, Charlotte, NC 28217] has requested a Major Modification for its permit NC0004944 for its Salisbury treatment facility in Rowan County. This permitted facility discharges treated domestic and industrial wastewater to North Second Creek in the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. The NPDES permit is being modified to include Centralized Waste Treatment wastewater and discontinue discharge of OCPSF wastewater. The Modification also includes addition of 2 new tiers for 0.5 MGD flow and 1.0 MGD flow. Currently ammonia-nitrogen, BOD, Chromium (III), Chromium (VI), Total Mercury, fecal coliform, dissolved oxygen and some CWT parameters are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin.
