The Water & Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (P.O. Box 428, Concord, NC 28026-0428) has requested renewal and expansion of NPDES permit NC0081621 for its Muddy Creek WWTP. This permitted facility discharges treated wastewater to the Rocky River in the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. Currently BOD, ammonia nitrogen, dissolved oxygen, fecal coliform, and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin.
