Join us to celebrate National Estuaries Week by cleaning up the beach at Masonboro Island on September 17th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We will divide into teams to cover select portions of the island.
Limited transportation will be available so sign up is required! If you have you own transportation, we can assign your team a clean-up location.

Every year, we celebrate the special, highly productive coastal areas called estuaries during National Estuaries Week (September 14-21, 2019). NOAA, the National Estuarine Research Reserve System, and Restore America's Estuaries all host events and offer educational opportunities. Locally, the Reserve and other organizations active on the coast, including the N.C. Coastal Federation also host events.
