Perquimans County applied to renew NPDES permit for their WTP #1 [NC0068861], 458 Snug Harbor Rd, Bethel, discharging filter-backwash and ion-exchange regeneration wastewater to Bethel Creek, Pasquotank River Basin. Currently pH, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Residual Chlorine (TRC), Total Chloride and Total Copper are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portion of Bethel Creek.
